• Hi all.. I’m seriously about to throw my laptop against the wall!!

So i’ve tried almost everything that i’ve found online to fix the problem and yet nothing.. here is the problem

I’m using mystile theme and woocommerce. I’ve tried woocommerce seo all in one and I’ve also tried yoast seo.

When I search for a particular product in google, in the title I get the product name | sitenamesitename

and in the meta description I either get the excerpt or the navigation links from my page depending on the product. All the products were added the same

I’ve tried changing the force rewrite titles in yoast
    My header php is <title><?php wp_title(”); ?></title>

If you solve this you’ll forever be my hero!!

    The website is http://www.kiguonesies.com
but if you type in google say kigu onesies tiger you’ll see what I mean

  • I’ve got the same problem – and it’s driving me nuts, too. Any ideas? thanks

That is happening because your feed is also getting indexed . Prevent it from robots.txt and then use yoast seo with force rewrite title settings . It will be fine within two or three days . And use only one seo plugin at a time .

    Thanks Andy,

I’m very new to all this, would you be able to walk me through it please?

    Cheers.

Does anyone know how to remove the Posted by Author under the title of each product?

Nope, we don’t support WooThemes so it’ll be best asking them regarding issues/queries with their theme.
