I have attempted to dowload and activate the plug in WooCommerce. I chose the auto installation and can see the plug in my list; however, when the plug in is activated I get the following error –

Fatal error: Call to undefined method WP_Query::is_main_query() in /home/content/37/7621237/html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/classes/class-wc-query.php on line 54

This is all that is on the page. I have been able to access my website by keeping the page open in another window and deactivating the plug in.

    Suggestions?

What version of WooCommerce are you using?

What version of WordPress are you on? Make sure you are using version 3.5+ since WooCommerce 2.0 requires you to be. The is_main_query() function and WP_Query method are actually already in WordPress core since version 3.3, so if you are still running an older version there are also some security issues that should justify the update.

I will try this; however, I only downloaded this a few days ago and the version available for downloading was 2.0.5

What Coen Jacobs is referring to is your WordPress Version.

Thanks and sorry for the confusion. I am using WordPress 3.5.1

Have you tried disabling all plugins and use a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twelve? This will rule out the possibility that it is a WooCommerce bug, but I doubt it really is a bug since I can’t reproduce this on my development machines.

Can we have a link to your site so we can check what might be causing it?
