• Our Woocommerce randomly puts orders back into the processing status, even a day AFTER it has allready been shipped (!). Our customers get a new comfirmation and our shipping department sometimes mistakenly resends the parcel because of this.

These orders are with a static payment method, there is no payent provider involved so there is no external source manipulating the statusses.

How can we disable this “function” or how do we block anything from touching our statusses when they are completed/shipped?

  • I’m having a similar problem. I have just set up my store and have only one order (the test order I placed myself). I went to the orders list and clicked “complete” on the right. The page reloaded, but the “pending” icon still shows. I went into the order and marked it complete and it still shows as pending in the list. The same thing happens when I use “Bulk Actions” to mark it as completed in the list view.

Can anyone advise me on how to fix this? I’m afraid to invite real customers to the store if I can’t be sure I’m able to manage their orders properly.

    Thanks!

Sounds like a problem with your actual order statuses (which are terms). If you go to the system status page and look near the bottom it will list your statuses:

If yours differ from this list, that will be the issue. They can be manually renamed/fixed. WC 2.2 is dropping this system in favour of custom post statuses.
