   I sell products that come in two different types of wood, and the wood selection changes the price. When a customer chooses one type of wood, it can only be painted, not stained. If they choose the other type of wood, it can be painted or stained.

   Is there a way to hide the attribute "stain" when a customer chooses the painted-only type of wood from the drop-down menu? It just doesn't look right to have an attribute that does not apply to that product.
