Woo Tumblog Plugin: Why Use It if We Have Post Formats?

    I’ve been unable to figure this out myself.

    I’m customizing Twentyeleven in a child theme on a multisite installation. Right now I’m running WordPress on a development server using a single installation.

    I’ve added Woo Tumblogs, but it doesn’t seem to work right. Not sure if it has to do with the way Twentyeleven is themed, with templates for each of the different formats.

    Aside from all that, here’s my question: WHY use Woo Tumblog when we have post formats built into 3.1 and later?
