Won't update Twitter

    Hi! Thank you for offering this product!

    I’m running WP version 3.4.2, and was able to install this plugin automatically from the admin panel. But there are a couple of problems.

    I’ve tried to update my twitter account with this plugin, and while it looks like it’s going through, my twitter feed remains unchanged. I’ve tried logging off and logging back in through the plugin to authenticate the app twice now.

    It’s also able to detect I have 4 statuses on the new twitter account, but just below that, suggests there are “no statuses”, and won’t display the ones already posted.

    Hey cantme,

    just updated two of my Twitter accounts through the Dashboard widget and they were showing up on my Twitter profile. Twitter did shut down some APIs lately, but it still seems to be working on the blogs I was testing.

    Is your Twitter account protected?

    My twitter account is brand new and isn’t protected: http://www.twitter.com/Cantankerous_Me

    I’ve enabled XML-RPC publishing protocol as well, if that has anything to do with it.

    I just tried using the dashboard plugin again. The plugin appears to be doing something when I press the “Send Update” button–the entry field disappears, and the plugin interface returns to where it was before. But the new tweet never shows up on my twitter profile.

    As this is a brand new blog, without much content, I’ll send the info to you today. I’ve created a test admin account you can use to check things out. Feel free to send any test tweets for troubleshooting.
