My twitter feed averages several posts every hour, but the widget on my site takes FOREVER to refresh. Currently, the most recent tweet it is showing is over 24 hours old.

Here are my widget settings:
Number of Tweets to Show: 3
Duration of Cache: 1200 seconds
Show avatar & Show action links: Yes
Auto Slide: no
Use the default CSS: Yes

Any help with the refresh rate on my site? The widget looks great, but it is pointless if it can’t stay relatively up to date with my twitter feed.

I have the same problem as ‘optimalsd’.
The widget isn’t refreshing tweets anymore.

I am using:
Juiz last tweet widget version 1.1.4
Wordpress version 3.4.2

Hope someone out there is able to help!

@optimalsd : your Twitter account had been suspended ?

It’s a kind of security.
If the plugin has some tweets in memory, and the Twitter API is not accessible, my plugin show old tweets instead of error message.

If you need a quick refresh service, use the weighty Twitter plugin 🙂
