I just wanted to thank the developer of this plugin for the excellent work.
I wish it would become part of WordPress core!

PS: I have only one wish: some kind of visual feedback while the attachment gets uploaded. Without that, it is difficult to know what is going on, and one may think the upload is not working, and unwillingly cancel the process.

It's a very promising plugin. Keep up the good work!
I'd suggest organizing the uploaded files in WP's uploads/year/month directories (or at least adding an option to enable that). Another thing that comes to my mind is to write the uploaded images as standard WP media files.
