   Hello,
   I built a custom theme for someone. Really it was just a new theme so I could put it on their installation. They have the WishList Members plugin but for some reason when I log in it can't find any of the posts that are protected. It works just fine when I activate the previous theme though. Do I need to put the registration key somewhere in my theme for that to work or something? The links are exactly the same in the new template so I'm out of ideas. Just seeing if someone could push me in the right direction.

   I realized my problem was a n00b mistake on my part. For anyone running into this problem, especially with the Wishlist Members widget, be sure to make your custom theme a child of one of the prepackaged themes that comes with wordpress or another compatible one listed on their site. Hopefully, someone else finds this useful and can learn at my expense :)
