• Hello,
I am the web editor for the Student Newspaper, Veritas, at Manatee Community College.
I’m a student, so I don’t have direct access to the server, but I’m not sure if this is a server problem or a wordpress problem.

    Address to site:
    http://veritas.mccfl.edu/

The site is running WordPress 2.3.

The site is hosted on a server running Windows Server 2003.

What is happening, is that if a user is usuing Firefox or Safari, the pages will hang intermittently. Sometimes each page will hang for several seconds, while sometimes it will not hang at all.
At the same time that it is hanging in either Firefox or Safari, I can try it with Internet Explorer and everything works perfectly.

Would this be a server configuration problem, or a wordpress problem?

At first I wasn’t aware that it was working on IE, so we thought it could possibly be a problem with the network, but the server is usuing the same network as MCC’s homepage:
    http://mccfl.edu

Obviously we have a much slower server, but the server is only running about about 5-10% capacity.

    Any ideas?

Thanks for all of your help!
