Windows 8 app for WP blog

    Hi,

    I run a relatively successful WordPress blog called No Nay Never (http://nonaynever.net).

    I’m interested in building an app for Windows 8 that would pull in my blog’s posts, comments and any meta information.

    I’m sure I could find an RSS app template – but is anybody aware of a way to build an app more fully integrated with WordPress (allowing comments and pulling in more data than RSS would such as custom fields).

    I built 90% of the website theme by hand so am comfortable coding for the web, but have never tackled any other platform – though I’m keen to explore more.

    What would be perfect is a WordPress app template to build upon, but anything would do right now.

    Any ideas?
