Windows 2000 Installation, Nothing (2 posts)

Hello... I've installed WP on Linux systems several times, and never any significant problems (well, I did once, but it was just me being absent minded... chmod or something). I'm trying now to install it on a Windows 2000 laptop, running Apache 1.3, PHP 5.0.1, and MySQL 4.0.2. Each of these runs fine independtly... can serve web pages, parse PHP, and query the db. But, when I go to localhost/wp-admin/install.php, nothing happens... A blank page; no error messages. The Administrators group (to which my user account belongs) and the System group both have full permissions. I have never modified any Active Directory settings on the machine.
Has any one experienced a similar problem, or does anyone have ideas for things to investigate or try?
    Thanks

What version of WP are you trying to install? There have been other threads which deal with PHP5.x and WordPress. Depending on the version of WP you are trying to use, the solution will vary.
A googling of site:wordpress.org php5 gives these results.
    HTH.
