will WP work for me?

Hi everyone, ive been studying this cms abit lately, and seems very intriguing. Would like some advice and feedback on what Im thinking: I have a rather sprawling site with my various music projects, samples, writings and essays, photot galleries, etc. at http://www.norumba.com .

Its a great repository of information but not very flexible or interactive., so i set up a blogger site at http://norumba.blogspot.com/ which does the trick for the moment, but im looking for a cms that can handle the depth and breadth of the main site, but allow comments on each section, RSS per topic, podcasting, etc – in other words integrate it all. Can WP handle the amount of pages/photos from the main site? suggestions on how to best approach this?
