Will this plugin help with my 500 errors?

    I have been doing site migrations from a hosting provider onto my own WP Server and I managed to backup and import my database into the new site environment. All the content has been moved properly but i am experiencing 500 errors now when I try and access any pages other than the homepage. I can view the homepage but none of the other pages. Will this plugin fix what seems to be my permalink issue?

    I would bet on no, and even if it did (for some reason), I wouldn’t think it’s a good solution. If your 500 errors are really permalink-related, aren’t they likely caused by a borked .htaccess file (or, since you moved hosts, perhaps an absent one)?

    If your site worked without this plugin before, the thing to do is to get it working without the plugin again. It’s a really useful plugin, but it’s not really meant to be a fix for a broken site.

    Oh, and good luck. I know three weeks later this isn’t especially helpful, but it seems like someone ought to respond to you, so why not me?
