Will this plugin affect website speed? (2 posts)

I've looked into a couple of plugins for the simple task of adding one manager per business page, this plugin looks as if it will do that nicely?
Others I've looked at like Advanced Access Manager have reports of causing websites speed to diminish. Any insight on this being the right tool for the job and its affect on page speed is much appreciated.
    Thank you

I have an outstanding issue with the plugin doing a hole bucketload of queries, which of course will affect speed.

GM_Alex have promised to look into it.

Basically the plugin makes a new set of queries for each item in each context, which will quickly run into the hundreds. Or in my case into the thousands, but that may be a fluke.

This means that mileage may vary: If you have many groups and many different locked pages, categories and media, it will affect speed.

If GM_Alex succeeds in remaking the plugin using fewer and more global calls, replacing the repeated db-queries with array-calls, the rest of the code is pretty efficient.
