• I need some admin help. I want to switch my hosting but can’t get my EPP code.

The domain in regard is broadcastingbeauty.com (or broadcastingbeauty.wordpress.com).

The situation: My webhost is webhost000 and the domain is registered at Wild West Domains. Both of these places has told me that WordPress is where I will find the EPP code. We have wordpress installed on our servers but we never purchased anything from wordpress and have no domain options. The domain is mapped to the blog though.

I cant login to broadcatingbeauty.wordpress.com/wp-admin either, we have no login information associated with it. I have been going in circles calling Wild West domain, contacting my webhost, looking at other discussions with people who have similar issues, and waiting for a response from wordpress@support.com to no avail.

  • Your site is still running on the .com and not on the open source .org software, that’s why your not able to access /wp-admin.

Try reading through the WordPress.com documentation/support pages:

I have read the domain transfer documentation before. For some strange reason webhost000 doesn’t allow you to change nameservers and they register your domain to Wild West who puts the responsibility on WordPress…I don’t have store -> domains on my wordpress account.

I just want to keep the domain name but I’m just going in circles

I guess what I need to find out now is how to get wordpress.org associated with my domain?
