    Uh oh.

So I moved my WordPress installation from a subdirectory to the root and everything is working except for the wiki. Links to all of the wiki pages return the theme's 404 error page (in the case of the old subdirectory URL) or a custom "Not Found" page that uses the /wiki/stylesheets/static.css element (in the case of what should be the new root directory URL).

I moved from http://www.server.com/wordpress/ to http://www.server.com/ following all of the instructions in the Codex.

The wiki was located at http://www.server.com/wordpress/wiki/wiki-name and it should now be at http://www.server.com/wiki/wiki-name

    Please advise.

Here's an update: If I change WP Admin > Wikis > Wiki Settings from "wiki" to "woki" or "wikis" it works. How can I get "wiki" back?

Ah, crap. I think I found the problem. I'm running OS X 10.8.3 Mountain Lion/Server 2.2.1 I think it's a conflict with Apple's wiki which seems to insist on having /wiki all to its own self. So I guess I'll live with /wikis

    Hi @mfaase,

This is an interesting quirk. One I was not aware of but will now certainly make note of for future support requests.

Although I realise this issue is not so much "resolved" as it is "lived with", but could you possibly mark the thread as resolved to keep the forum tidy?

    Thanks!

Yup, it's as resolved as much as it can be from WPMU's end. Thanks.

Ok thanks, and thanks for marking it resolved and making our job easier!

We can more quickly get to the threads where people still need our help if people mark their threads as resolved when they have been :-)
