It seems like lately my WordPress just doesn't like me! Right now I am getting this error where I am getting strange text in the comments area .. if you go here:

    http://thepoliticalteen.net/2005/07/29/2055/

You will see a font like Courier in some of the comments /trackbacks.

This is causing my comments page to be extremely wide and hard to read. Any ideas?

    Thanks.

    <b>UPDATE:</b> Here is one trackback:

    ------
    [...] rdball”">

Filed under: Terrorism, Media by Mac Powell at 1:57 pm

The Political Teen has the video of Hardball last night when liberal talking head Hillary Rosen said [...]

    ------

Not sure why the title has those characters and why I am seeing the "Filed Under <Category>" text.

  2. I can't see that specific pingback in the post that you liked to, but anything that starts and ends with [...] is a pingback, not a trackback. Pingbacks have a nasty habit of taking a certain amount of text from around the incoming link. Unfortunately, since the author of the linking blog included a link to your blog (or post) first, you were left with a little bit of the text after the link (part of the post) and a little bit of the text before the link (the post's meta date). Oops sorry that is what I mean a pingback, but I do have a trackback doing the same thing but - crap - I edited it to stop the widening .. I will post later if problem occurs again.
