Wierd HTML Editor

    I have a blog (name it blog1) and I kept on upgrading it to the latest version(2.9.2). Recently I installed another WP (2.9.2, just name it blog2) and found some difference in the editor with blog1.

    The HTML editor in blog1 keeps html tags, say, <p> and separate each paragraphs with a space; while blog2 stripped all the <p> tags and separate each paragraphs with a blank line.

    You can see the difference on the 2 pics here(blog1, blog2).

    Wonder what’s the problem or is there anything wrong with either one? Thank you!

    In your profile in the wp-admin settings you can enable/disable the visual editor – does the settings match each other for blog/blog2?

    Yes, they are the same setting. Guess somehow WordPress forgot to upgrade some part of the TinyMCE. Have installed TinyMCE Advanced to fix the problem but still no line break between each p tags. Thanks for your reply.
