[resolved] Width problem on different browsers (5 posts)

My tables look great on FF and explorer. However in safari and chrome I notice the feature column is displayed differently.

For example, if my feature is 23 characters it displays fine on FF and E. But on safari and chrome it breaks it and displays one of the words on a second line. This throws off the height on all other columns and mis-aligns everything from there down.

    Any fix for this?

Hi have you tried to increase the table width? There has to be a wrapper element that if increase it might fix your problem although it might slightly change on FF and IE.....

    What is your website URL?

    Kind regards

I'll look for the table width and try that -- is that in the style css? I appreciate the help, but I'd rather not post my urls in the forum.

I was thinking though as a last resort to just build the table exactly as I wanted, and then create an image of it and display the image -- so it would be the same across all browsers. I'd have to slice in the clickable buttons though, but might be worth the effort if I can't get it to work.

I solved my problem by just slightly altering the text length in my features -- basically subbed in a smaller word for a couple of the items. Tables look great now across all browsers.

Hi, that is good news ;) I had a feeling it was going to be something simple.

If you have resolved your issue could you please close this ticket.

    Thank you kindly
