    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    The reason for this is the content of your table. It simply requires a larger width, and Chrome will enforce that width.
    You have very long words in your cells (or combinations of words, separated only by a ( or /. The browser can then not word-wrap text, so that these long words set the minimum widths for each column. The sum of these minimum widths then sets the minimum width of the table.

    You could try to shorten these by adding spaces around the / and ( to give the browser more positions where it can add word-wrapping.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

    you can either add those spaces, as I mentioned, or simply press "Enter" at the relevant places.
    Another idea would be to set the table to a fixed table-layout CSS property, and then force wrapping in CSS.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    I did this but nothing works :-(

    .tablepress-id-1 {
    border-collapse: separate;
    border-spacing: 1px 0;
    width: 990px !important;
    table-layout: fixed;
    }

    .tablepress-id-1 .column-7 {
    width: 100px;
    word-wrap: break-word;
    }

    Hi,

    you might have to use break-all as the CSS property. Also, maybe these ideas work: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/12694941/word-wrap-css-property-not-affecting-a-table-cell
