   For the past few days I have been trying to update the code on a widget. When I click "Save", I get a circling doughnut that never goes away and the widget is never updated. I have been trying for several days now. I leave it updating for hours and it never completes. I try pressing the "save" button again which does nothing. What is causing this and how do I fix it so that I can update the widget?

   You may try to update it manually via FTP

   I am having this same issue. The rotating doughnut goes away but the widgets never update. I tried re-installing 3.3 but that didn't fix it. Any ideas?

   Make sure you've done the normal debugging steps

   Hi, I got the same problem, but it can save when i just enter some text in the box. but when i put html code or javascript. it cann't save. I try to use hotfix. but the problem not solve. pls help. THANKS!!!!!

   breadwing, same advice. Read the master list, follow the 'before you post...' steps.

   Deactivating all of my plugins and reactivating them one by one did the trick. Thanks for the super helpful link Ipstenu!
