[resolved] Widgets side-by-side above blog? (2 posts)

    Hi,

I am trying to set two widgets side by side under the top menu, but above the blog. The regular blog with right sidebar would then start underneath. I tried a ton of stuff with the theme itself, using custom css, etc. but can't find.

    http://www.pinkroseholidays.com/

I created both widgets, but when I insert them, they occupy only the space of the blog, on top of one another, and with a right sidebar.

So right now, I use "custom coding" on the Home page (code editor), with the info of one widget to show up. I need another bvlock on the left containing the content of a special widget.

But if I enter shortcodes in the custom css area, it's not giving me any widgets. Is there anything you'd suggest?

    Thank you!

    Andre

    Hey Styzer,

I believe you trying to add some widgets which will appear under the full width "Spain" image? If so then you should be able to achieve what you want using this plugin but adding some PHP to you theme to call add the widgets using "theme template tags"

How did you originally add the widgets? Was this using the shortcode?

Are you using a free theme? if so can you let me know what it is and I can try to let you know what PHP to add where.

    Ta,
    Todd
