Widgets Page not working

I have not been able to do anything on my Widgets page for about a week now. I’m not sure if this is because of the recent update. The current Widgets currently in use don’t even show up in the sidebar on the right. It just says “Text” under all of them. Can’t click on any hyperlinks to get “help” either. Not sure what to try. There was no option to uninstall the latest update. I had originally wondered if the latest update was the problem Please help!
