   I just installed WordPress in a new installation. I cannot move content into or out of widgets in the standard theme, let alone any theme I uplad.

   I had on trouble in another installation.

   trouble with another installation on the same host under the same account. I am using inmotionhosting.

   Could be a plugin conflict. Deactivate all plugins and see if that helps. If so, reactivate them one by one until you find the problem.
