Widgets not working on main sidebar

    I didn’t need any of the widgets on the Main sidebar, so I dragged all the widgets that were in the main sidebar to the left to Available widgets. I dragged the Text widget and dropped it into the Main side bar. I added the Facebook like box widget to the box. I saved and refreshed screen. This widget is not showing up when I visit my site. I dragged and dropped the Calendar widget to the Main sidebar to see if it would show up. I visited my site again. I do not see any Main sidebar widgets.

    Do you have any caching on your server/site/browser? Make sure all of them are cleared.

    I cleared the cache. I did notice after looking at it again that I see the widgets on all pages but the Home page. How do I get the widgets to show up on the home page?

    What theme are you using? Widgetized locations can vary from theme to theme. 🙂 Some like to just have it on the home page, some on specific posts or pages.

    Hello, Jose,

    Thank you for replying. I am using Responsive theme. A few widgets were on the Home page when I installed this theme, but I moved them to the available widgets so that I could customize the widgets. When I added new widgets to the main side bar, they show up on every page BUT the home page. How do I get them to show up on the home page again?
