I have WP 2.5.something I got it yesterday and today I see 2.6 with a down load botton. So I haven't had it long.
Anyway when I go to place widgets on my blog I get the message
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_widget_description() in /home/u4/myname/html/my/location/../../wp-admin/includes/widgets.php on line 132
Anyone know how to cure this?

I would say that you caught 2.6 dowload before the WP website was updated to reflect the new download, there will be no issues with the new one (have faith lol) however, some widgets and plugins may not be compatible with the new WP 2.6, I am no expert, but I think I have this correct....!
Best thing to do is visit "Extend" and see if there are updates over the coming weeks.

I installed 2.6 and it works, I guess i did get caught in the middle.

i've a problem with the new 2.6. I can't edit the widgets on the right sidebar. It's seems the doesn't exist. Some plugint problem?
