The only way I got my widgets to work not drag and drop only manual. All i did was go into my phpmyadmin to the wordpress database goto to table wp_usermeta edit wp_usersettings mine was widgets_access=off so i changed it to on now i can add widgets.
Not saying it will work for everyone worth a try.
Or you can navigate to Admin/Appearance/Widgets. Click on the Screen tab at the top of the page and click in "disable accessibility options".

Yeah that didnt work for me thx anyway. I have enough to make the page work now. Just thought I would share what I did. :) seen other ppl with the same problem.
