   I am having trouble dragging widgets on the widget section of the admin backend. It is a new install of 2.8.5 and there is no way of moving these widgets on IE, Firefox or Safari.

   I have no plugins installed, and it doesn't matter which theme I'm using. It's very frustrating as my site is literally redundant without being able to activate these widgets.

   I have searched this forum for similar threads but the solutions offered simply do not work - and yes, I have Javascript activated.

   Hope someone can help.

   I'm having the same problem. Has anyone came up with a resolution around this? I really want to add some more widgets
