[resolved] Widgets not appearing in sub-sites (10 posts)

I'm using WordPress multisite and everything works great on the main site. I created a subsite which is using the same theme as the main site, has all of the widget appearing and with content but none of the widget content shows up when you view the subsite web pages. You can see them in the Admin widgets section of the subsite but the content does not appear.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

  2. Can we get a link to the sites?

The test site is viewable at http://www.chantillysports.com

    The sub-site I've been testing is http://www.chantillysports.com/children/

You'll notice the widgets in the header and footer do not show-up in the sub-site.

  4. To be clear - Multisite sites are separate. You have to activate widgets per site.

    You did that, right?

Yes, they are active and configured in both.

  6. And you dragged them over to the widget areas?

    Absolutely.

  8. That is totally bizarre. o.O

Can you make a test site and replicate that behavior?

Is there any other way to test this? I moved a TEXT widget into the sidebar and that seems to show up. So it may be isolated to Subpages Extended, does that help?

Update: I figured out the problem was that I didn't have any of the pages set to have a parent page. So there was no page structure to display. Whoops! Issue resolved. Thanks.
