• Hi. I have a site http://www.papurazzi.com

When I am logged into the dashboard I see a sidebar and it has 6 or 7 widgets. When I view the page when logged in all is good. However, as soon as I log out, or if I look at it on my iPad, none of the changes I recently made show up. For example, I added a social media widget that has three icons – FB, twitter, RSS – it is clearly there in my dashboard both when logged in and when I log out and log back in, but nowhere to be seen when on a computer not logged in.

I am totally perplexed by this. No matter what I add to my sidebar, it doesn’t show when logged out and won’t show to you either.

I’m a pretty experienced WordPress user – I run another site citygalonthego.com and have never had this problem.

http://www.papurazzi.com is running on the Nimble theme.

I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. This should be such simple site maintenance and I can’t imagine what is going on.

    Thanks.

I enabled accessibility mode, but it still does nothing. I assume this might be an issue with the theme (Nimble was installed by someone before I started maintaining the site), but I have no idea. It’s driving me crazy.

Ok, I temporarily solved. If you go back a theme it updates the cache and the widgets appear now. Annoying to have to go every time you change something, but whatev. Any suggestions as to how to stop this?

For anyone with this issue, change themes then go back to the theme you like and the widgets should show.

Looks like Nimble is from Elegant Themes? Perhaps ask on their forums — as they do provide support for purchased themes.
