[resolved] Widgets 1,2,3 inaccessible after WP/theme updates (4 posts)

    Hi,

I just updated WP to v3.5 and Responsive to Version 1.8.4.1.
For whatever reason, I cannot edit Widgets 1,2, and three (or any of the site-specific widgets for that matter).

When I click on the arrow to open the widget (say Widget 1), nothing happens(?).

As luck would have it, I need to give a demo in the morning and nothing I have tried is working.

I respect your time and time and help; and everyone has an EMERGEGENCY; but if I can make a plea, may I ask any advice as soon as is possible.

    Thanks in advance,
    fverni

    Hi,

There's nothing wrong with the widgets, all you have to do is to drag + drop them in. Please see: http://themeid.com/forum/topic/849/wordpress-video-text-widgets/ and if you have any questions please let me know.

Also check if your browser has JavaScript enabled as well.

    Thanks,
    Emil

As with many a problem...no sooner did I send the above help request when a possible solution occurred to me.

I was using Black Studio tinyMCE to expand the text capabilities of entries into the 1,2 and 3 Widgets.
In checking, an update for the Black Studio tinyMCE was available, so I installed it.

    Problem resolved!

Hoping this may help someone else.

I am very glad to hear that. Just like Themes, Plugins are in need of updates as well :)

    Thanks,
    Emil
