widget weirdness

    I recently moved my site from being developed locally to a web host. Everything has gone relatively smoothly except for one big thing: Widgets seem broken.

    Two weird things happening in the widget control panel:

    1) My text widgets have all disappeared, but the widget count seems to still think they’re there (i.e. it says I’m using eight widgets, but only displaying four in the admin).

    2) When I try to add any widget and hit SAVE, it returns a blank page and doesn’t update the sidebar.

    I’m stuck. Help!!!

    you will need to reset them with this plugin

    Thanks, but I want to make sure that’s it before I wipe out all my widgets. Here’s another thing I noticed:

    I can’t modify any widgets I currently have, or plugins. For instance, I have the postlists plugin to dynamically display some content on pages. It has no settings anymore–all the lists I built are gone from its interface, and I can’t build new ones.

    this feels a lot like when I try and mod widgets now.

    Something larger seems to be afoot. Any ideas?
