WP Custom Fields Search
Widget Title Styling (3 posts)

    I'm stumped. I've been trying to find the CSS to change the styling (text color, size and font) used for the widget title, but I just can't find it. It's either than, or I'm just not looking in the right place.

    In the 'searchforms.css' file, there's block of CSS for .searchform-label, which I thought might be useful but changes to that code only effects the labels on the pull-down menus. NOT the title of the widget itself (what's displayed directly above the widget in the sidebar).

    None of the other CSS in that file seems to have any effect on the title either, which leads me to believe that I'm not even looking in the right place. The only other CSS file I can find is the admin.css, which I assume only effects how the widget appears on the admin screen, which is where you change/input the widget title. That works but there's no styling options.

    If anyone has any ideas about how and where to change the styling for the widget title, I would be most appreciative for your feedback. If I figure this out before anyone responds, I'll post an update so that others might benefit.

    if you want, insted of changing the CSS of that title, just over-run it with your css code that you will add to your style.css in your theme.

    the is the CSS that i made to disighn the plugin:

    form.custom_search {
    	padding: 10px 0px 20px 0px;
    	margin-bottom: 20px;
    	font-size:12px;
    	border-style:solid;
    	border-width:3px;
    	border-color:#d0d0d0;
    	}
    	label.searchform-label{
    		width: 140px;
    		padding-top: 8px;
    	}
    	div.searchform-params{
    		width: 160px;
    	}

    	div.searchform-controls input {
    		width: 140px;
    	        margin-top: 15px 20px 0 0;
    	}
    		span.searchform-input-wrapper select {
    		width: 140px;
    	}
