Widget Ready Blocks in Footer? (5 posts)

    Hi everyone,

I am VERY new to WordPress and building website and have just started stumbling around in my attempt to learn it all.

I have created a rudimentary website over at http://gospelthinking.com and so far things have gone fairly well as I learn the basics.

One thing that I am confused about is what to do (how to edit, or remove...or anything) the chunks at the bottom of the page that are labelled 'Widget Ready Block'.

The theme I am using is GoodTheme and as of yet I have been unable to find any support forums specifically for that theme. Has anyone used this theme or have any suggestions on what a very beginner friendly way to edit those widget areas might be?

    Thanks in advance!

So helpful for the original poster to NOT include the solution.

There are tonnes of tutorials online

And all around these forums. I know I have posted how to add widgets anywhere in your theme twice yesterday. Just have a peek around
