Widget over slider or theme like this?

    I am trying to find a theme that has feature like this site – http://goo.gl/h9CV3D

    If you see the site, the news section is over the mainpage slider. Is there any WP theme that has this kind of feature. I already search from most theme sites that i know, and cannot find one. Many themes offer large slider on the front page, but cannot put any widget over the slider.

    If theres no theme with such feature, how to make those News section over the slider?
