  • Same thing is happening to me.

    yes, same here

I found that if I go to Settings/Twitter Widget and change settings there, it does seem to save the settings and they are reflected in the widget settings.

    Hope that helps.

Had the same problem and meanwhile found the solution (sometimes just reading the settings info texts helps ;-): The plugin settings only affect shortcodes, not widgets. If you already added a twitter widget and want to change its settings you can do this directly within the widget in the design tab.

    Hope this helps.

I too have the same problem – changing any settings in “Settings/Twitter Widget” seems to override any individual settings I make in the actual widget.

Not a problem if you only have one instance of the widget on the site. I want 3 and all 3 end up with the default settings.

@eistea seems like we’re all having issues with the shortcode. I am not using the widgetized version and my settings are not saving correctly.

Guys I suggest you seek an alternative plugin as I don’t think the support is active here.

Not sure if these will suit your needs but I’m using either woodojo or I’ve heard of Really simple twitter feed

    same for me….
any updates or saved settings to the plugin’s settings page, does not effect the shortcode’s output display.
is this working correctly. or am i missing a step?

    thank you for any help.

I now use Jetpack (new) Twitter widget. Works very well.
