    Hi,

This isn’t necessarily just for the widget author (thank you for a great widget by the way), but for anyone using and familiar with it really.

I have a private family site that I recently rebuilt and I have not been able to configure it the same way I had it. It’s driving me nuts. I think it’s this new premium theme I’m using as it has additional areas to drag widgets to that is confusing me. (blog sidebar, page sidebar, after singular page, after singular post, etc.)

I used to have it set so that everyone could see the front page, but naturally clicking on any menu links would nag you to log in.

**For the widgets part, I used to have one generic location/map widget that would show only to everyone not logged in, but once users would log in, they would see a completely separate list of (more personal) sidebar widgets.

Any thoughts or help would be appreciated. 🙂

So, just to clarify, the problem I’m having is showing the one generic widget to not logged in users.

You can use the role section for that. ‘Anonymous’ are not logged in users.
