Widget Logic Clearly Not Working For Me

    Upon following multiple tutorials, I am confident that I putting the right short code in the Widget Logic field, it just isn’t working.

    I am using simpleo theme and have woocommerce plugin installed.

    I have a call to action ad taking browsers to the shop page. I, therefore, don’t want this ad on the actual shop page. The slug is simple, its ‘shop’. The code I’m using is simple: !is_page(‘shop’)

    This seems to be exactly what I should be doing, why is it not working?
