I did as well a dedicated post with tag [book-reviews count=1]
but, image is not shown as I cannot register cover image. so it is not working either.
Did I missed something here ?
    thx !

Your theme has to support featured images. If your theme does not support featured images, you will have no way to upload book covers.

As far as hard-coding the widget in the home page, the two widgets that the plugin registers are Book_Review_Widget and Book_Review_Recent_Widget.

ok but my theme support featured image. I use it on slidershow.

Issue is I cannot assign it from admin on book review meanwhile I can do it without pb in posts.

Are you saying that you don’t have the option to attach a book cover at all, or just that it does not display on the front-end after you have attached it? If it’s not displaying you can add covers=true to your shortcode to display the cover with the review.

Nop, I have the option, I can click on it, select a picture, but when I validate, nothing happen, gallery popup just close and nothing is attached

That sounds like a problem with the theme or an admin plugin that you have installed. Are you able to reproduce the problem when you switch to a different theme or disable all other plugins?

seems to be related to the theme :/ bad luck

Thanks for letting me know. I’ll set this issue to resolved.

A lot of times themes will try to load jQuery in the admin in such a way that it conflicts with the built-in jQuery of WordPress and it can cause issues like this. You may be able to let the theme author know and see if there’s an update available.
