   I've searched for an answer online (with no luck) for a little more than an hour and decided it was time to make a forum post. I'm hoping somebody can help on this weird issue.

   First, I'm fairly certain that this is an isolated theme-based issue. I don't have the same issue with the 2011 theme. I've also tried deactivating all plugins. Nothing helps.

   Here's the problem:
   When dragging/dropping a widget (any widget) from Available Widgets to any sidebar, it will drop and for a very very brief moment show the form fields before collapsing to never return. Effectively 'widget-content' gets emptied. If you refresh the page, the widget works properly.

   When dragging widgets from Inactive Widgets, everything works fine--no issues.

   Does anyone have an idea as to what might cause this?

   All we can suggest is that you use another theme. Looks like your current theme isn't compatible with WordPress 3.2.1

   @esmi,

   I appreciate the candor, but unfortunately, that's not an option. I've arrived at the issue because I'm developing the theme myself, and I was hoping somebody had a logical explanation as to what might have caused it.

   Any other ideas?

   Without extensive theme examination, testing & debugging, that's not possible. Start by turning debug on and enabling error logging to see if that will help you to pin down the issues.
