What error message are you seeing? Also are you on a shared hosting server? Have you installed a caching plugin like wp-super cache?

I had a client and had same problem and Go daddy moved the account to another server so check with Go daddy and see you can be moved.

Is there only one install on that hosting account? In the past I have had issues because of too many installs on a shared hosting account with them.
ok, yeah, govpatel, is right. They probably over sold the box you are on. Also, you can disable wp plugins one by one, and test to see which if any can be affecting your install.

You may want to check with them whether the shared hosting account has enough resources to cater your business site. You may need to upgrade to a higher resources package if you need to.

    Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at com66588455454.45487.hostedresource.com. This could mean your host's database server is down.

    * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    * Are you sure that the database server is running?

If you're unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

You are using godaddy FREE hosting?

I've seen nothing but trouble with that. Isn't the free hosting the ad supported one? I haven't dealt with it in a long time, but last I knew WP and godaddy free did not play nice....

If you are paying for hosting, that is a different story...

OK, paid, that's good. That means WP should work then.

Are you on windows or linux hosting? (you would have had to pick one when you bought the hosting)

Are you installing WP yourself? Or using godaddy's one click installer?

I would definitely check in with godaddy support then. You have the right hosting, and using the 1 click installer, it should just work. You should definitely not be getting any errors, and WP should not be slow on a fresh install
