• Hey Ron,

I love your plugin: it’s the standard in WPMU domain mapping.

However I see in several posts that you don’t understand why so many of us are frustrated by the (non-announced) limit of 20 domains to be displayed on the domains page.

First of all, it is not announced. So it caused panic at first and then took me quite some time to understand how things were working. I know I’m not the only one who was confused by this.

Second, it’s unnecessary. When I modified the code to allow for all of my 450 mapping to display, it really didn’t slow down the page load all that much. (edit explained here: http://goo.gl/BvwUeU)

Third, it’s a functionality issue. You keep saying I can just see the mappings on the Sites page in the Network Admin. Although that may be true, there are several limitations to this:
a/ I can’t search by domain mapping using the Sites search,
b/ I can’t edit or delete mappings on the Sites page,
c/ it’s confusing to have the info listed in two places, where they can be edited in one, and viewed in the other.

I understand that there is a search functionality on the domains page, but it’s just not intuitive nor all that easy to use.

YOU are the author, but I plead you to hear all of us asking for either:
a/ no limit to the display, or
b/ the ability to change the limit easily on that page (like on a regular WP admin page), and to make the existence of that limit obvious.

Voila, I’ve said it. I hope you consider this input.
