why post tags?

    My entries, even without tags, can be found inside my website by clicking on a few words in the search box. Why do I need to put tags? In the dashboard, at the right side, there’s an area there that says “Post Tags”. Is that where I put the tags? Thanks and God bless! Merry Christmas too!

    Adding a tag cloud to your sidebar will show which tags are used more often. All the user has to do is click on one of the words, and they are taken to all the posts that relate to the tag. This is alot more convenient than the user having to guess at what term they are looking for.

    Is it Tags or Tag you are searching for?

    Adding tags to your posts, and a tag cloud eliminates the confusion. The user will see an entry for Tag (or Tags) and follow it.

    They are a bit of a pain, but very useful.
