   On my site loybanks.com, I place what should be a hot link http://scrnch.me/otu3c at top and bottom of text on page. However the link isn't showing up a blue underlined or hot link!! WHY? It needs to be hot.

   Also a Forum issue...When I click on forums, in WP, I have to immediately or quickly click on sub forum or it keeps sending me to page search. Why is this happening?

   No idea. I can't reproduce that. I would flush the browser cache and clean my mouse and keyboard.

   are you just typing the hotlink? I don't think it works that way. You either need to write out the code in code view
   

   <a href="link">link text</a>

   or in the visual editor, type whatever text you want linked, highlight it, and click the link (looks like a chain) then type in your URL
