There is a test function that you can access via shortcode.
[rotatingtweets screen_name='mpntod' show_media='1']
It still needs quite a bit of styling work.
I pasted the shortcode into a text widget. It didn’t show images either. It shows short links to the images on Twitter. The site is on Hostgator. What could be the problem?
Apologies.
I think it’s only in the development version.
I don’t understand, I’m new to Rotating Tweets. This is the first time I’ve used it. Is it supposed to show images? Do you want me to disable and/or uninstall the current version and install the version linked to above (the development version)? Does the development version show images but not the regular version? Or is the development version just for testing?
The regular version doesn’t show images (i.e. photos included in the tweet) currently, but the development version does.
If you want the official version of Twitter display showing the user’s icon, just put official_version='1'
in the shortcode.
Nice! The images in the Tweets are showing now! Thanks!
I put official_version=’1′ in the shortcode but the Twitter user’s icon is not showing.
Sorry. That should be official_format='1'
. I posted the last entry from my phone and didn’t check it.
The full list of shortcode options is here.
Yep, that worked. Thank you very much!
