   Hi,

   When trying to access the WordPress site that I am currently building at work, I get the following message:

   This Websense category is filtered: Proxy Avoidance. Sites in this category may pose a security threat to network resources or private information, and are blocked by your organization.

   Any idea why Websense is filtering this site for Proxy Avoidance? It's a simple photography blog.

   I also have a different domain (that runs on the same Rochen server) with Joomla installed and am getting the same message when I try and access that.

   While it's possible that websense may be incorrectly categorizing your sites, it's also possibly the result of custom filtering rules put in place by your IT staff. Gateway security appliances and web content filtering software are normally under the control of the IT dept. You should contact your IT staff and ask them if they have information that will clarify the reason for the denials, or possibly ask them to add an exception to their content filter rules for your sites.
