Why is my post grid "stepping" ?! (3 posts)

Hi, I have edited my category page to show posts as a grid, however, they seem to be stepping down a few pixels with each new post? Any ideas?

It's most obvious HERE where you can see the date and post title on the second post (or first, depending on which way you look at it) are a few pixels below that of the other one!

Here is my loop-category.php file: http://pastebin.com/7SAv7WUf

And the corresponding CSS for the grid: http://pastebin.com/LWpaTsMS

Many thanks in advance! It's probably something real simple, like me....

seem to be stepping down a few pixels with each new post?

a: with just two posts in the cat 1 page, this is not really a valid statement.

what happens with the third post, etc.

besides, the images have different hieights ...

It would appear you are correct sir, however, shouldn't my CSS have kept it all inline, regardless of how the image was cropped?

.attachment_post_thumbnail is set to 240px wide by 200px tall. What gives!?

Nevertheless, it's sorted now, I just have to remember to crop my featured images to exact dimensions from now on :/
