I published a new page (byfordwa.com/business-cards), then I changed my mind and deleted the page. next thing I know byfordwa.com redirects to byfordwa.com/business-cards ... what the! I've completely deleted/trashed/permanently deleted the page but it keeps redirecting!
I'm suspecting aliens?
Any other ideas?

Strange... did you try resetting permalinks? Or buy a giant laser.... helps with the aliens......

Yup...it sure does.....
That's strange.... did you happen to set that as a static front page before deleting? Maybe something is hosed up there

Kill the plugins and test? In case one of them was really attached to your new page?
Just the basic stuff first, ya know? I've had plugins wreck things in really strange ways

Just did a quick google search, so far every response Ive seen for your exact issue has been a plugin

Yup, if you do a google search for wordpress redirecting to deleted page, you will see that plugin mentioned a fair bit
