   Why I can't enter to my plugins area?

   I have this error
   

   Server error.
   
   The website encountered an error while retrieving http://---------.com/wp-admin/plugins.php. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
   
   Here are some suggestions:
   Reload this web page later.
     More information on this error

   Try:
   - switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme's folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

   - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

   still not working , I have reneamed the theme using ftp,
   and I did "resetting the plugins folder" ( I rename the older plugins to plugins.hold then create a folder plugins then I deletet and rename plugins.hold to plugins this was what I saw I have to do)

   Try re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

   To instal wordpress on my site again ?
   To put wordpress files on public_html ?

   You are not installing WordPress again. Just replacing those two folders and their contents with fresh copies.

   for me it was nextgen gallery...i renamed the folder and it solved the issue. now installing that plugin again..
